Tuesday, June 24, Turin celebrated the patron saint (Saint John), and as customary in these parts of the evening, around 10 and a half, held an impressive display of fireworks.

The fires, in itself already very well organized, accompanying a story that lasts about 40 minutes (But I could not feel it is too far away: P) and are shooting to the beat of music, which gives added value to the whole show was lacking in other fireworks I had seen before (such as mid-August to Jesolo, just to name one).

The frame, then, is really impressive: the fireworks are shot from a barge anchored in the Po near Piazza Vittorio Veneto, from which the background you see the mountain with its Capuchin monastery (which you can see in the videos below on the right).

On the right you can see, as already mentioned, the church / monastery Mount of the Capuchins and below you see (even if wrong, because poor quality videos on Youtube -.-) a series of illuminated fountains very beautiful, even if we were where we were quite difficult to see. : /



In the second video but you have to appreciate some of my colleagues that evening.
